Lauren’s critically acclaimed 2015 collection of linked stories\, The Wonder Garden\, was named a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers selection and an Indie Next selection\, and chosen as one of the best books of the year by Amazon and NPR. Thomas’ artwork\, often rendered in miniature scale\, has been shown in museums and galleries all over the world\, including the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers\, the Museum of Arts and Design in NYC\, the Bakersfield Museum of Art in California\, and the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence. \nThe evening will begin with refreshments and mingling. We will hear from our presenters after the KVIS and the Library report on progress and goals. All are welcome.
