DESCRIPTION:KATONAH VILLAGE IMPROVEMENT SOCIETY’S ANNUAL \nK5K KATONAH ROAD RACES \nSATURDAY\, SEPTEMBER 10\, 2022 \nRAIN OR SHINE \n@EDGEMONT & PARKWAY IN KATONAH VILLAGE \n5K RACE BEGINS AT 8AM \nKIDS’ 1 MILE BEGINS AT 8:45AM \nRegistration\n5K: Adults (ages 19 and up) register for the 5k around beautiful Katonah. The race starts at 8 am at the corner of Edgemont and The Parkway. Pre-registration costs $30. If you sign up after Sept 9th\, the price increases to $35. 5K registrants aged 13-18 pay $20 to participate. \nKIDS 1-MILE: Kids aged 12 and under are encouraged to run the 1-miler that starts at 9:00am at the corner of Edgemont and The Parkway.  Pre-registration for the 1-mile race costs $10.

SUMMARY:Staged Reading: Bill W. & Lois W.: Their Journey in Letters
DESCRIPTION:The Stepping Stones Foundation will stage two performances of “Bill W. & Lois W.: Their Journey in Letters\,” at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday\, September 24\, 2022\, at the Walker Center for the Arts at The Harvey School. This inspiring play tells the eventful and hopeful life stories of Bill and Lois Wilson\, the co-founders\, respectively\, of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon Family Groups. \nThe play readings will support Stepping Stones\, the National Historic Landmark at 62 Oak Road in Katonah\, and feature acclaimed actors and local residents John Bedford Lloyd and Anne Twomey Lloyd among the cast of professionals.
